Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

Your driver will collect you at 8:00 a.m. to begin your scenic journey across the High Atlas Mountains, passing through Berber villages and breathtaking landscapes.
We’ll stop at the legendary Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, Morocco’s largest fortified village and a UNESCO-listed treasure, featured in films such as Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator.

After lunch at the kasbah, we’ll continue toward Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” before traveling the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs to the Dades Valley. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at a charming guesthouse nestled among the red cliffs of the gorge.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, we’ll explore the scenic Dades Valley, famed for its unique rock formations known as the Monkey’s Toes. Our drive continues to Tinghir and the Todra Valley, where you’ll take a leisurely walk beneath 300-meter cliffs admired by climbers worldwide.

We’ll stop in Erfoud and Rissani for lunch before reaching Merzouga, where your camel caravan awaits. Ride into the dunes of Erg Chebbi, watch a mesmerizing sunset, and spend an unforgettable night in a luxury desert camp. Enjoy dinner, traditional drumming, and stargazing by the campfire.

Day 3: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fes

Wake early to witness the sunrise over the Sahara. After breakfast and a shower, we’ll travel via Errachidia and the Ziz Valley, passing through Midelt and the Tizi Ntalghamt Pass.

We’ll stop in Zaida for a delicious barbecue lunch, then continue to Azrou to see the famous Barbary macaques in the cedar forest. Later, visit Ifrane, known as “Morocco’s Switzerland,” before arriving in Fes for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Full-Day City Tour of Fes

After breakfast, join your local guide for a full-day exploration of Fes, Morocco’s spiritual and cultural capital. Visit the Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque, Attarine Madrasa, and the colorful souks of the medina.

Enjoy lunch in a traditional riad before visiting the Royal Palace Gates, the Jewish Quarter (Mellah), and Fes’ famous pottery workshops. End your day with a panoramic view of the old city.

Day 5: Fes – Ouazzane – Chefchaouen

After breakfast, we’ll depart north toward Chefchaouen, crossing the Rif Mountains and the town of Ouazzane. Upon arrival, enjoy free time to explore Chefchaouen’s blue-washed medina, wander its charming alleys, and relax in a café overlooking the mountains.
